I've driven about fifty to sixty thousand miles all over the country during that time, and this nation is falling to pieces. I'm very much surprised more bridges haven't collapsed in broken heaps like that one on I35 in Minneapolis two years ago. Most of this country's road systems will ruin your wheels and steering and break your axles now. I84 out of Boise was so bad in a truck I had to keep my mouth closed tight to avoid busting my teeth.

I drove to Florida a half year ago and found an entire stretch of Alabama around Montgomery and Birmingham that looked like the culmination of WW2. I've read Detroit is now a broken, rotting shell ready to be bulldozed. Katrina is still written large over a big part of New Orleans, easily seen from I10. Funny how all three places I just mentioned are predominently black.

"An Israeli army officer who fired the entire magazine of his automatic rifle into a 13-year-old Palestinian girl and then said he would have done the same even if she had been three years old was acquitted on all charges by a military court yesterday.
The soldier, who has only been identified as "Captain R", was charged with relatively minor offences for the killing of Iman al-Hams who was shot 17 times as she ventured near an Israeli army post near Rafah refugee camp in Gaza a year ago.
The manner of Iman's killing, and the revelation of a tape recording in which the captain is warned that she was just a child who was "scared to death", made the shooting one of the most controversial since the Palestinian intifada erupted five years ago even though hundreds of other children have also died.
After the verdict, Iman's father, Samir al-Hams, said the army never intended to hold the soldier accountable.
"They did not charge him with Iman's murder, only with small offences, and now they say he is innocent of those even though he shot my daughter so many times," he said. "This was the cold-blooded murder of a girl. The soldier murdered her once and the court has murdered her again. What is the message? They are telling their soldiers to kill Palestinian children."
The military court cleared the soldier of illegal use of his weapon, conduct unbecoming an officer and perverting the course of justice by asking soldiers under his command to alter their accounts of the incident.
Capt R's lawyers argued that the "confirmation of the kill" after a suspect is shot was a standard Israeli military practice to eliminate terrorist threats.
Following the verdict, Capt R burst into tears, turned to the public benches and said: "I told you I was innocent."

All over the world, governments are either placing stringent reporting requirements on large cash transactions or they are banning them altogether. We are being told that such measures are needed to battle illegal drug traffic, to catch tax evaders and to fight the war on terror. But are we rapidly getting to the point where we will have no financial privacy left whatsoever? Should we just accept that we have entered a time when the government will watch, track and trace all financial transactions? Is it inevitable that at some point in the near future ALL transactions will go through the banking system in one form or another (check, credit card, debit card, etc.)?
The truth is that we now live at a time when people who use large amounts of cash are looked upon with suspicion. In fact, authorities in many countries are taught that anyone involved in a large expenditure of cash is trying to hide something and is probably a criminal.
And yes, a lot of criminals do use cash, but millions upon millions of normal, law-abiding citizens simply prefer to use cash as well. Should we take the freedom to use cash away from the rest of us just because a small minority abuses it?
Unfortunately, the freedom to use cash is being slowly stripped away from us in an increasingly large number of countries.
In fact, as countries like Mexico "tighten the noose" around big-ticket cash purchases, our freedom to use cash is going to erode rather rapidly.
The following is a summary of some of the very tight restrictions being placed on large cash transactions around the globe right now....
Mexico
In Mexico, a bill before the legislature would completely ban the purchase of real estate in cash. In addition, the new law would ban anyone from spending more than MXN 100,000 (about $7,700) in cash on vehicles, boats, airplanes and luxury goods.
$7,700 is not a very high limit, and this legislation has some real teeth to it. Anyone violating this law would face up to 15 years in prison.
Greece
In Europe, some of the "austerity packages" being introduced in various European nations include very severe restrictions on the use of cash.
In Greece, all cash transactions above 1,500 euros are being banned starting next year. The following is a comment by Greek Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou at a press conference discussing the new austerity measures as reported by Reuters....
"From 1. Jan. 2011, every transaction above 1,500 euros between natural persons and businesses, or between businesses, will not be considered legal if it is done in cash. Transactions will have to be done through debit or credit cards"
Italy
Even Italy has gotten into the act. As part of Italy's new "austerity measures", all cash transactions over 5,000 euros will be banned. It is said this is being done to crack down on tax evasion, but even if this is being done to take down the mafia this is still quite severe.
The United States
The U.S. government has not banned any large cash transactions, and hopefully it will not do so any time soon, but it sure has burdened large cash transactions with some heavy-duty reporting requirements.
For example, your bank is required to file a currency transaction report with the government for every deposit, withdrawal or exchange over $10,000 in cash.
Not only that, but if a bank "knows, suspects, or has reason to suspect" that a transaction involving at least $5,000 is "suspicious", then another report must be filled out. This second type of report is known as a suspicious activity report, and it is also filed with the government.
But the reporting does not stop there. As Jeff Schnepper explained in an article for MSN Money, if you are in business and you receive over $10,000 in cash in a single transaction you must report it to the IRS or you will go to prison.....
If you're in a business and receive more than $10,000 in cash from a single transaction, or from related transactions within a 12-month period, you have to file Form 8300 and report the buyer to the IRS. Don't file, and you go to jail.
The IRS isnt kidding. I had a client who was a dealer in Corvette sports cars. He told me he didnt have time to file the forms. I told him several times to file. He thought he knew better. He went to jail. So did his children who were involved in the business.
This is very, very serious.

The ordinance has been on the city books for about 30 years. City officials say it began when utility workers used to climb poles to work on lines. A pole full of nails from garage sale signs often created a safety hazard. Even though utility crews now use machines to access lines, Deputy Mayor Linda Klinck says the signs can become an eyesore because people don't remove them after the sale ends. "Music lovers can now be immortalised when they die by having their ashes baked into vinyl records to leave behind for loved ones.
A UK company called And Vinyly is offering people the chance to press their ashes in a vinyl recording of their own voice, their favourite tunes or their last will and testament. Minimalist audiophiles might want to go for the simple option of having no tunes or voiceover, and simply pressing the ashes into the vinyl to result in pops and crackles.
The company was founded by Jason Leach, who co-founded the techno group and record label Subhead in the 1990s and has since founded a number of other labels, including House of Fix, Daftwerk and Death to Vinyl.
Leach explained to Wired.co.uk that there were a number of factors that made him launch the service, including thinking that he was “getting a bit old” and “might not be invincible”. His mother also started working at a funeral directors, which brought the whole funeral process closer to home. A third prompt was when he saw a TV programme that showed someone in America putting their ashes into fireworks, which made him think about how he might want to be remembered. "Manhattan Criminal Court Judge James D. Gibbons resigned last week after porn was discovered on his work computer. The evidence was turned over to the Manhattan district attorney's office, and presumably if Gibbons had not resigned, he could have been fired. The discovery "came as part of routine monitoring of courthouse personnel, said one of the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the investigation was continuing," The New York Times reports. (CN) - A man who was hurt in a car crash but was misidentified as a cancer patient claims security guards at Prince George's Hospital beat him up when he tried to leave the hospital to avoid chest surgery he didn't need - "to have a potentially cancerous mass removed from his chest." He adds that one guard repeatedly called him "bitch" as he roughed him up. Joseph Wheeler says a June 23 car accident put him in the hospital, which is owned by Dimensions Health Corporation. When he woke up hungry on June 24 and asked a nurse for food, she told him he couldn't eat because he was scheduled for surgery, Wheeler claims in Prince George's County Court. Wheeler says the nurse checked his identification bracelet and told him the surgery was "to have a potentially cancerous mass removed from his chest." Wheeler says his ID bracelet "contained a name that was different from Mr. Wheeler's, appeared to be that of a woman, and had a birth date that was 13 years prior to his own." The complaint continues: "Mr. Wheeler, still in serious pain from the car accident and subsequent treatment from injuries sustained, was starting to fear for his safety as the hospital had misidentified him and he was being prepped to go into a surgery that he knew nothing about. "At this point, Mr. Wheeler's wife, Felicia Ann Wheeler, came into the room to see her husband. Mr. Wheeler immediately told Mrs. Wheeler about what was taking place. The Wheelers decided that it was in their best interest to leave Prince George's Hospital Center and seek medical care for Mr. Wheeler elsewhere." Mrs. Wheeler confirmed with nurses outside her husband's room that he was scheduled for cancer surgery, and when she told the nurses that she and her husband were leaving, "an argument ensued." According to the increasingly bizarre complaint, Mr. Wheeler, "hearing the argument, took out his I/V, got out of the hospital bed, put his clothes on, and started to walk out of the room. He was bleeding from the spot on his hand where that I/V had been connected. "Mrs. Wheeler and the nurse met Mr. Wheeler at the door. The nurse told Mr. Wheeler that he was not allowed to leave. She put a bandage on Mr. Wheeler's hand to stop the bleeding from the I/V spot, and then yelled for security. "Mr. Wheeler, now bandaged and clothed, began to walk toward the exit of the floor while his wife gathered the rest of his belongings. As he moved toward the exit, two large men in security uniforms moved quickly toward Mr. Wheeler." These men, defendants William Reese and Donovan Scott, worked for the hospital and/or defendant Broadway Services, according to the complaint. The Wheelers say the two security guards were "immediately hostile." "Defendant Scott harshly asked, 'Where do you think you're going?' Mr. Wheeler told both Reese and Scott that his business was finished at the hospital and that he was on his way out," the complaint states. "In the moments immediately following this exchange, defendant Scott began to appear angry and upset with Mr. Wheeler. He began to use profanity directed at Mr. Wheeler about getting back to Wheeler's 'damn room.' "At this point the two officers put on black padded gloves in front of Mr. Wheeler and defendant Scott started to hit his fist against his own hand and moved closer in proximity to Wheeler's face. Defendant Scott appeared angry and agitated." Wheeler, "in fear for his safety," tried to reason with the guards. "He told the officers that he had been in a serious car accident and suffered from multiple injuries to the torso and shoulders. Wheeler also told the officers that he was retired from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and that he knew that the security officers had no right or authority to detain him. Wheeler stated that he wanted to leave." At that point, Wheeler says, Scott grabbed him and shoved him "hard from behind into the adjacent wall and metal railing," hurting his ribs. The complaint continues: "Mr. Wheeler, in serious pain and feeling like he was going to black out, fell to floor. Defendant Scott stood over him and yelled, 'Get off the floor bitch! This game is over!' "Defendant Scott continued, 'I don't care who you think you are, this is my camp, you listen to what I got to say!' The vocal officer then grabbed Mr. Wheeler and pulled him up off of the ground as Wheeler pleaded with the officer to stop hurting him. "At this point the defendant Reese said to the vocal officer, 'Man, ease up on him. He might really be hurt.' Defendant Scott replied, 'Hell no, he don't come up in here and be telling us what the fuck to do!'" As the two guards "escorted" him back to his room, "Scott accused Wheeler of attempting to push the second officer down a flight of stairs," and "continued to shout expletives at Wheeler," according to the complaint. Wheeler says the men took him to the hospital security office, where an unidentified lieutenant questioned him. "After Mr. Wheeler explained what had happened, the lieutenant looked at Wheeler's hospital-provided identification bracelet and acknowledged that Wheeler had been misidentified," Wheeler says. But that was not the end of the conflict. Wheeler says the lieutenant became agitated when he would not return the incorrect bracelet, and ordered the security guards to stop him from leaving. He says a plainclothes hospital employee, a woman he identifies as an "administrator ... intervened in the conversation" and after he explained the situation, said she would make sure he "would have his own private room and any type of drug he wanted, just to name the pain killer." Wheeler says he and his wife chose to leave the hospital, but when he tried to leave with the incorrect ID bracelet, one of the security guards "charged Wheeler, again calling Wheeler 'bitch,' and shoved him against the wall." "Mr. Wheeler spent the next three days at St. Mary's Hospital and was diagnosed with four broken ribs, a sprained shoulder, a ruptured spleen, and a concussion," he says."


Twelve years ago I took an unplanned dismount from my motorcycle. I was dead tired from moving and shouldn't have been riding that morning, went off the road in the Oregon coast range, sailed through the windscreen at about 35 - 40 mph and woke up in blackberry bushes.

Somehow my wife, who was driving ahead of me, felt something had happened and came back, loaded my busted carcass in the car and drove me to the hospital.

I beat myself up pretty good. My whole left side got crushed with my clavicle and all my ribs broken, spleen ruptured and a collapsed lung. Later on the Mrs said that when I got up or laid down in bed it sounded like a box of crackers.

In the hospital I deteriorated. Basically my wife was the only caregiver, trying to wipe me clean as I was laying in a pool of blood and pus. My fever spiked into pass out coma range off and on.

After five days I knew I was dying and had to get out of that place. They had given me two IVs but one was plugged and the other one, in my hand vein, was sideways, so I wasn't getting any morphine for the unbelievable pain. Somehow I found the strength to get out of bed, pull the IVs out and struggled into my street clothes.

When I walked out the staff saw me and called security. A bunch of nurses and security goons followed me into the elevator after I think I heard an alarm and some message over an intercom. When my entourage and I got down to ground floor I was confronted by another gaggle of clucking pencil pushers and goons.

At this point something happened. I was very, very weak and highly feverish and could barely walk. But when I was confronted by this group of shitbags who, I'm sure, were first going to talk me into going back to the room and stay in their hospital, and if I didn't listen they would force me, some sort of energy took over. I straightened up, looked them all in the eyes and calmly, rationally, told them all about the miserable care I was getting and how if I wanted to leave then it was my right to get the hell out of there. Where that came from I have absolutely no idea because I was in and out of consciousness. Maybe unlike the fellow in the above horror story, I'm a big muscular guy so they didn't dare to initially lay hands on me even in my busted condition, but it was this unexpected, mysterious energy that truly saved the day for me. I literally overcame their arguments and convinced them to allow me to leave without any violence.

My wife drove me home and I slept for 12 hours straight and broke that terrible fever.

I found out a few days later that the hospital had given me a blood infection from the shitty IVs, and for two weeks I had to carry a gizmo that pumped antibiotics into my arm or my heart valves would have shrivelled and died.

My wonderful wife continued to nurse me back to health.

So much so a month later with only one arm and one leg I dug a barren patch of dirt and put this little garden in at the house we moved to.

"The first academic research project into lap dancing has found that, rather than being uneducated young women who have been coerced into the industry, one in four dancers has a degree and has been attracted by the money.
Dancers took home an average of £232 a shift after paying commission and fees to the club, with most working between two and four shifts a week – giving them annual incomes of between £24,000 and £48,000 a year.
The researchers found no evidence of trafficking in the industry, and concluded that career and economic choices were motivations for dancing rather than drug use or coercion.

Unemployed new graduates – mainly with arts degrees – were also dancing because they could not find graduate jobs and found that lap dancing paid much better than bar work.

"One miner gives a guided tour of the small shelter where the men took refuge when a landslide trapped them inside the mine on 5 August.
He explains that he and his colleagues have enough room to stand and lie down, points out the "little cup to brush our teeth", and the place where they pray each day.
"We have everything organised," he says.
The few items they have are carefully laid out: a first aid cabinet, shelves holding unidentified bottles, mats in a corner for rest.
As the camera fixes on a table where dominoes have been laid out, the tour guide says that "this is where we entertain ourselves, where we play cards".

US troops fired on thousands of Afghan civilians as they protested outside the massive US military base at Bagram on Monday.
A provincial police official said that at least one civilian was killed in the incident, but Nato asserted that no civilians had been killed or injured.
The Western military alliance claimed that soldiers had only fired "warning shots" to disperse residents after they surrounded a military patrol and attacked vehicles outside the sprawling facility with rocks and iron bars.
But Parwan province deputy police chief General Faqir Ahmad was adamant that one civilian had been killed - although he said he could not be sure who fired the fatal bullet.
Gen Ahmad said that the Nato shooting had served to enrage the crowd, which he put at about 2,000 people.
He said that some responded by using rocks and sticks to attack police and the head of the district government, Kabir Ahmad, who had tried to calm the situation.
He reported that Mr Ahmad and a police officer had sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Gen Ahmad went on to say that the rally had been triggered by the arrest of a religious teacher suspected of taking part in a rocket attack on occupation forces."

Jerusalem rail firm planning to segregate carriages along gender lines

"The company building a light railway across Jerusalem is considering segregating some carriages along gender lines to serve the city’s ultra-orthodox Jewish population.
The railway, which is due to be operational next spring, could have separate compartments for men and women, Yair Naveh, the chief executive of CityPass, said today.
“The train was built to serve everyone,” he said. “It is not a problem to declare every third or fourth car a mehadrin [kosher] car.”
The suggestion was swiftly condemned by Jerusalem city councillor Rachel Azariya, who said: “Naveh was appointed to run a project – that doesn’t mean that he can tell people where to sit and where not to sit, nor does it mean that he knows anything about values and democracy.”

Historically the vaunted high tech american prowess has been easily hoodwinked by this use of decidedly low tech dummy ruse.
In 1999 when the US and NATO bombed the crap out of Serbian forces in Kosovo, this was typical of the headlines you saw in the media after 11 weeks of intense bombing and missile strikes that killed far more civilians than army personnel:

What the Serbs did was to extensively use fakes that completely fooled the idiots in the pentagon. With virtually unlimited firepower and gung ho brains stoked on amphetamines, desperate for ego massaging praise, american warriors repeatedly thought they were pulverizing massive amounts of Serb military hardware when they were merely blowing up wooden and rubber planes, tanks and missile launchers. I remember reading about Serbs laughing as cheap microwave ovens were used to simulate radar signatures with fake missile batterys, totally wasting NATO's murderous efforts. Phony bridges were quickly built over rivers and were destroyed again and again by million dollar cruise missiles. The Russians know what they're doing.

The Original Matrix

About the machinations of particularly ugly Illuminati types or ziofascists, you choose, although this was a 1988 film so it can be taken as a polemic against the asinine Reagan era and it's conspicuous consumption. But control was paramount by the bad guys in this flick and exposure of who theyreally were was the central theme.
If you haven't seen this John Carpenter film, Roddy Piper was a pro westler/actor who played a wandering laborer who stumbles on sunglasses that reveal a network of monsters. They had cloaked their hideous bodies and constant control tactics in a sort of early Matrix type of hallucination, while normal people were completely clueless, or served as useful idiots.

The movie is pretty cheesy and low budget but is eminently watchable despite that because the message turns out to be timeless. Rowdy Roddy was engaging enough, and his extended fistfight with Keith David is one of the most brutal ever put on film, probably due to Piper's famous theatrics in the pro wrestling ring. He's still around and active, living up near Portland in Oregon.

"If you're traveling this summer and don't want a TSA agent to see your graphic full-body scan, you might have to opt for a grope. Reports have surfaced that passengers who've refused to go through the TSA's expensive and invasive body scanners have been treated to a more rigerous pat-down. "If anybody ever groped me like that in real life, I would have punched them in their nose,” one male traveler told the Boston Globe. “It was extremely invasive.. actually probing and pushing and seeing if I was concealing something in my genital area.”

The new "enhanced" pat-downs are different in that screeners are using the front of their hands to probe sensitive areas instead of the backs of their hands as they had previously. Another difference is screeners will use a sliding motion to move their hands over passengers' bodies instead of a patting motion. As one female passenger said, screeners touched her face, hair, and underneath and between her breasts in their search for weapons. These new pat-downs are currently being used at Boston's Logan airport and Las Vegas's McCarran airport, but the TSA plans to roll them out nationally. And in case there was any doubt, these touchy-feely pat-downs are just for those who refuse to have their bodies scanned. If you go through a regular metal detector, one source says, you would only get the regular, back-of-hand pat-down."

"SKOWHEGAN, Maine (AP) — Neighbors in a central Maine town are upset that a landowner who can't build on his quarter-acre parcel has opened up his land as a "nature park" for the homeless.

The U.S. multichannel TV market lost 216,000 customers last quarter, vs. a gain of 378,000 a year ago. The total number of subscribers to cable, satellite and telecom video fell to 100.1 million in the second quarter, SNL Kagan says.
Cable TV firms lost 711,000 subscribers last quarter, while satellite and telecom TV services managed to add 81,000 and 414,000 subscribers, respectively.

"Although it is tempting to point to over-the-top video as a potential culprit, we believe economic factors such as low housing formation and a high unemployment rate contributed to subscriber declines in the second quarter," said SNL Kagan analyst Mariam Rondeli."

Full-Body Scan Technology Deployed In Street-Roving Vans

"As the privacy controversy around full-body security scans begins to simmer, it’s worth noting that courthouses and airport security checkpoints aren’t the only places where backscatter x-ray vision is being deployed. The same technology, capable of seeing through clothes and walls, has also been rolling out on U.S. streets.
American Science & Engineering, a company based in Billerica, Massachusetts, has sold U.S. and foreign government agencies more than 500 backscatter x-ray scanners mounted in vans that can be driven past neighboring vehicles to see their contents, Joe Reiss, a vice president of marketing at the company told me in an interview. While the biggest buyer of AS&E’s machines over the last seven years has been the Department of Defense operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, Reiss says law enforcement agencies have also deployed the vans to search for vehicle-based bombs in the U.S.
“This product is now the largest selling cargo and vehicle inspection system ever,” says Reiss."

Woman Ticketed For For Driving Too Slow

"BELEN, N.M. -- A Valencia County woman who was pulled over for driving too slow said state police went too far.
Jeanette Sedillo said was driving on Reinken Road in Belen, N.M., after 10 p.m. Wednesday when a state police officer pulled beside her and told her to get off the road.
Sedillo pulled into a parking lot, questioning what she did wrong.
Apparently, going too fast was not the problem: the officer wrote her a ticket for driving 6 mph under the speed limit.
"He said, 'You were going 34 in a 40,'" said Sedillo.
The citation said she violated the statute for minimum speed. Now, she has to pay a $70 fine for what she thought was careful driving.
Sedillo said there was little traffic in the area at the time and that she wasn't putting drivers in danger. She said state police went too far with the citation and that officers should be going after more serious offenders.
"They're just out to get anybody," said Sedillo."

All military weapons must be tested on humans. Major loopholes exists that allow the U.S. government to run experiments on individual and populated geographical areas.
"The 'Assault Intervention System' (AIS) developed by the Raytheon Co., could give the Sheriff's Department 'another tool' to quell disturbances at a 65-inmate dormitory at the Pitchess Detention Center's North County Correctional Facility, said Cmdr. Bob Osborne, head of the technology exploration branch of the sheriff's Department of Homeland Security Division," reports Blacklisted News..
Osborne said, "We're looking to see if we can exploit this science for the benefit of the Corrections Department."
"Sheriff's Deputy David Judge manned the controls and fired the beam, using a joystick and a monitor, not unlike a video game, to aim the ray gun's camera."
On Mar 2, 2008, 60 Minutes on CBS News repored on the ray gun in its program, The Pentagon's Ray Gun reported by David Martin.
The new technology is under the misnomer, non-lethal weapons. As William Thomas revealed in 2005, the so-called non-lethal weaponry has also been tested and used on Iraqi civilians.
A US army veteran told the Examiner that the new weaponry burns holes straight through Iraqis, killing them, remotely, without bloodshed. Civilians on a bus were killed that way.
Thomas wrote about new weaponry:

About six years ago my wife and I went to Death Valley. We decided to take a drive over the pass into Pahrump for supplies. We're pretty used to the area, having been through there several times before, but we were struck by a new development southwest of the town. Mile after mile in the valley streets were marked and a lot of them were paved. Just the streets were there but no structures. It was obviously going to be a huge expansion of housing communities reflecting what in hindsight was misplaced optimism. We'd seen this all over the west in the past decade but Pahrump was the most expansive and I have to assume the whole shebang has been dropped by now, and those miles of streets will slowly return to gopher holes and cactus. Out of the way desert communities that relied heavily on tourst money, with no manufacturing and only service jobs, are going to literally become decaying ghost towns.

"New research about a steep drop in circumcisions made headlines this past week. According to one federal researcher, circumcision rates in U.S. hospitals slid from 56 percent in 2006 to fewer than a third of boys born last year.
Doctors caution that those numbers aren't definitive — for instance, they don't include circumcisions not covered by insurance policies or circumcisions performed in religious settings.
But Dr. Douglas Diekema, a pediatrics bioethicist at the University of Washington, tells NPR's Audie Cornish there's no doubt about the overall trend.
"I think all of us agree there probably is a decrease in the number of circumcisions over time, and that's probably a result of a number of factors," Diekema says.
"About 10 years ago, the American Academy of Pediatrics came out with a policy statement that was fairly neutral on whether circumcisions should be recommended for newborns or not," says Diekema. "And that probably changed the way physicians were talking to their families."
In many states, Medicaid stopped covering the procedure as a result of that policy statement. And many insurance companies followed suit, meaning that more and more families might have decided to forgo circumcision just because of the expense."

The parents, who the baby is genetically programmed to believe are there only to love and protect and serve him, hand him over to some other who then straps him down and tears and cuts the most sensitive part of his body, the part that is designed by nature to bring pleasure, and finally cuts a piece of that part off. The real lesson is, "What you want or don't want and how you feel is of absolutely no concern to anyone. Not only do we not care enough to even try to listen and understand you, but the more you protest the more we will disassociate from you and ignore you. The world is a terrifying and dangerous place."
